Welcome
Evidencing the age-old adage that "everyone has a book within them", Anchorage Publications is initially featuring books published by Sue and Allan Percival but will soon be moving on to support friends, acquaintances and clients who wish either to get their writings to marketable readiness for publication or simply want to preserve their work in written book, report, or digital format.
Both Allan and Sue have long experience of writing and publishing, Allan having been an editor for a major in-house, international, monthly magazine, whilst Sue is a well published poet and winner of competitions throughout the UK, N. America and Australasia.
We are always delighted to hear from our readers so that we may consider their feedback and share their comments with our authors. Please send in a review of any of our books which you have read.

CDs
Demonstrating versatility, we also include the "Don't Cry" CD by Steve Percival.
The CD EP "Don't Cry" was released on 08.10.11 to raise awareness and funds for UK charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
Every week in the UK, 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die from undiagnosed heart conditions. Sometimes referred to as Sudden Death Syndrome, these conditions may be detected with relatively simple tests and perhaps even treated with surgery.
This CD features 4 original songs, one written specifically for the charity, by North East singer/songwriter Steve Percival.
The songs feature a host of musicians from the North East who gave their time freely to support the project. Steve explains "Since losing a friend in 2002 to one of these silent cardiac conditions that kill so many young people in the UK every year, I've wanted to write a song for CRY."
The title track also features The Bon Achord Singers, a 16-member choir from County Durham who performed with Steve at the regional launch party for the CD in Durham on 07.10.11. Steve adds, "I hope the song acknowledges the inevitable sadness that is felt, but also the importance of treasuring those things that are left you and celebrating a life, however young. It was difficult to write but I hope people will find it easy to relate to".
The cd is available from CRY at www.c-r-y.org.uk/dont_cry.htm
